Business Development Executive

Our client seeks a friendly and persuasive Business Development Executive to join their team. You would be generating interest, qualifying leads, and scheduling appointments for the sales team, you will play a crucial role in expanding the customer base and driving business growth.
This is a remote position open to those living anywhere in South Africa.
Business Development Executive Duties & Responsibilities
- Researching and identifying potential businesses that could benefit from a complete range of facilities management services
- Initiating outbound calls to introduce the company and services, and generate interest by clearly and effectively communicating the features, advantages, and benefits
- Scheduling appointments or demonstrations for interested prospects to discuss services further
- Maintaining a follow-up system to nurture leads and convert them into customers
- Updating and maintaining accurate records of interactions, prospects, and customer information
- Coordinating with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition of qualified lead
Business Development Executive Skills, Experience & Requirements
- A minimum of 1 year of telemarketing or telesales
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Hard-working and target driven
- Ambitious career aspirations
- Highly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational skills
- Previous experience in a Sales/Business Development role
- Working knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software and Microsoft suite)
- Patient and able to handle customer rejection
